Custom Concrete
Installation in Calabasas & Greater Los Angeles
Durable, Beautiful, and Built to Last
Concrete is one of the most versatile materials in outdoor construction — and when it’s designed and poured correctly, it’s one of the most durable. At Marbia Landscape Design, we handle complete concrete flatwork for residential properties throughout Calabasas, Hidden Hills, and the greater LA area — from driveways and pool surrounds to custom walkways and decorative patio surfaces.
We don’t sub this work out. Our crew handles concrete as part of the same integrated project approach we bring to every installation.
Concrete Services We Offer
Standard Broom-Finish
The classic, cost-effective finish. Properly poured with expert base preparation, delivering decades of performance for driveways and walkways.
Stamped Concrete
Replicate the look of natural stone, slate, or brick at a fraction of the cost. Premium visual appeal with the unmatched durability of concrete.
Exposed Aggregate
A textured, slip-resistant surface created with decorative aggregate. Ideal for pool decks and walkways where traction and style are priorities.
Borders & Accents
Poured-in-place borders to frame paver fields and define landscape beds, creating clean, permanent edges that hold their shape indefinitely.
Pool Deck Concrete
We design surrounds with appropriate slip resistance, drainage gradients, and coping integration for a safe and seamless finish.
Concrete Driveways
Complete replacements with rebar or fiber reinforcement. A properly designed concrete driveway is a 30+ year investment for your home.
What Sets Quality Concrete Apart
Not all concrete work is equal. The difference between a driveway that cracks in five years and one that lasts thirty is almost entirely in the base preparation, mix design, and finishing technique — not the surface you see on day one.
At Marbia, we compact the aggregate base to the correct depth, use proper mix designs for Southern California’s climate, and place control joints strategically to direct any cracking away from visible field areas. It’s the kind of detail that separates contractors who’ve been doing this for years from those who won’t be around to honor a warranty.
Frequently Asked Questions
About Concrete
How long does concrete last?
Properly installed concrete driveways and flatwork last 30–40 years with basic maintenance. Sealing every 3–5 years extends life and protects color in decorative applications.
How soon can I use new concrete?
We recommend waiting 24–48 hours for foot traffic and 7 days for vehicle traffic on new concrete. Full cure to maximum strength takes 28 days.
Can you remove and replace my existing concrete?
Yes. Demo, haul-away, and new pour are all handled by our team.
Is stamped concrete slippery?
Stamped concrete can be slippery when wet without the proper sealant. We use slip-resistant sealers on pool decks and all wet-environment applications.
